When I went to Orchha, it was raining and for three days big clouds were hanging over this great landscape … but Khushi’s laughter immediately put the sun straight in my heart! This was definitely the most beautiful room I had in India and I enjoyed the company of the family. Thanks to the girls and their mother for the “sari-party”: they managed to make an Indian woman out of me in only 10 minutes!
We love the place, we love the food, we love the people ! Everything was perfect .. Incredible Orchha !

A complete change from the usual. What a super family – Rambabu, Kiran and their three girls Rohini, Nidhi and Khushi. As much kindness as there are stars in the sky!

I’ve had such a blast staying here with the family. It has been an irreplaceable experience and one that I will keep with me for the rest of my life !
It is the best experience to do if you have the chance and if you want to have a different touch, more close to the real life of the people here.

Just two days at the Homestay but I already feel that I've learned more about Indian culture than ever before.
Though I’m Indian, I was not aware about the happiness and warmth you get while staying with a real Indian family! Thank you for making me feel proud to be born in this wonderful country. Orchha will definitely be a memorable chapter of my life which I will cherish forever. Away from the hustle of the city, playing with children, sometimes you feel this is life.
Such a warm welcome from the whole family! Orchha and its Homestay are really places where life feels good.
Since my arrival I have felt welcomed and taken care of. They made me feel part of their family in only three days!
I leave thinking of the great experience I had in Orchha and wishing to stay longer.
We made Orchha (and homestay) our honeymoon destination. It turned out to be a memorable experience for multiple reasons!
Being Indian, we have never known rural India like this. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and we intend to recommend it to all our family and friends.

An amazing experience which exceeded all expectations. A heart warming insight into life in India with a wonderful welcoming family.
Thank you for memories, we will treasure for many years to come.

Travelling in India is, for a "Westerner", an eye-opener. But our stay at the "friends of Orchha" has not only opened our eyes, to see the true beauty of this country, but also our hearts; to its people.
To meet Malti, her husband and their kids, to see how they live and work, was as much an experience as a lesson to us, the memories of which we will nourish and cherish as long as we can.
